About the Project

In an ongoing effort to provide quality wireless service, AT&T has identified your community as one that will benefit from improved network coverage. 

Milestone Towers is proposing a wireless telecommunications facility at Freedom High School, addressed 25450 Riding Center Drive, Chantilly, VA 20152.. 

The proposal is for a 150-foot monopole and will include ground equipment required to operate the facility. 

This equipment will be located at the base of the structure in a secure fenced area. AT&T will be the first wireless carrier to locate on the proposed tower.

Update #1: LCPS and Milestone Towers will be holding a Community Meeting Monday, July 18th @ 6:00 pm in the Freedom High School cafeteria. The meeting will have an informational presentation followed by a Q&A session.

Our Process

1. Due Diligence 

Survey, FAA, FCC, NEPA, Phase 1, Geotechnical Analysis.

2. Land Use

Special Exception Application, Community Meeting, Staff Review, Planning Commission Public Hearing, Board of Supervisors Public Hearing.

3. Permitting

Conduct Bid Walk With Contractors and school representatives, submit Site Plan and Building Permit applications.

4. Construction 

Tower construction = 4-6 weeks  | Carrier construction = 4-6 weeks on average

On-site supervision by Construction Manager | Schedule with schools to minimize disturbance to student activities.

 

5. Site Maintenance

Four visits per year for site maintenance | Remove trash, debris, check signage. 

Annual RF testing | 2-4 visits per year for carrier modifications.
